Permanent Makeup is considered ‘permanent’ because the pigment remains in your skin, however in actuality it gives a semi-permanent effect because the pigment fades over time allowing you the option to let it fade away or to change and/or update the pigment/style in the future. Eyeliner is typically more permanent due to the pigment used as well as application. Style and color is determined by personal choice, RAW’s expert advice and what is best for your individual style, eye shape, eye color and skin type. You can choose between upper only, lower only, or upper and lower. From a soft, natural looking enhancement that creates a subtle, no makeup look… to a more defined traditional line with or without shading, to a smoky, sultry look, the choice is yours! We work together with you to choose an individualized color and style that makes waking up in the morning and getting ready a breeze! Healing process is minimal; the first 24 hours you may experience a small amount of swelling, as well as a bit of itchiness and dryness for up to one week. Many clients enjoy having our Luxury Lashes (Lash Lift and Tint) as well so that you have lovely curled, black lashes framing your eyes and negating the need for eye makeup during the healing process and beyond! Eyeliner (Smoky, Classic, Shaded, flick or Wedge)
Eyeliner options include Lash Enhancement, Smoky, Classic, Shaded, Flick or Wedge Shading. You can choose between both upper and lower or just upper or lower. From a soft no makeup look to to a more bold, defined eye with a more dramatic style, the choice is yours! Lash Enhancements are very popular for those wanting to ‘dip their toes’, it is a soft enhancement that mimics the look of darker thicker eyelashes and does not look like eyeliner. Classic is a similar look to wet eyeliner, the thickness and design is determined by your eye shape and personal style. Shading, flick and wedge are all techniques that accentuate your eyes with a bit more drama, and creating a more almond or cat eye affect without a wing. Bold eyeliner is much more dramatic in thickness, we recommend this style for those who have darker skin or for those seeking a bold dramatic eye (keep in mind bold may not be the best option if you have lighter skin/eye color. Many clients choose our signature Smoky Eyeliner as it is a beautiful way to enhance your eyes and does not have a crisp eyeliner look. From a soft natural looking smoky enhancement that creates a subtle no makeup look to to a more bold, defined smoky eye with a more dramatic shading style, the choice is yours! Customized to suit each individual. in a soft, shading specific to your eye shape and personal style. We can add a touch of smoke for the lower as well to give a soft enhancement that frames your eyes giving the look of darker, thicker lower lashes. Permanent Makeup is a two part process and although optional, generally requires a six week perfection appointment to achieve the desired effect.
